Neodymium Magnets from Türkiye to the EU

Custom and standard permanent magnets for industrial buyers in EU member states, quoted in writing with origin, documents and delivery terms stated before you order.

1. Who we supply

We quote to manufacturers, OEM and repair workshops, distributors and project suppliers in EU member states who need neodymium and other permanent magnets and want one clear counterpart in Türkiye. Typical uses are electric motors and generators, magnetic separators and holders, sensors, loudspeakers, packaging and agricultural equipment.

2. What you can order

  • Neodymium (NdFeB): blocks, discs, rings, arc segments and countersunk magnets, in grades from N35 to N52 and higher-temperature series, with nickel, epoxy or other coatings. Our grade decoder shows what a grade such as N42SH means.
  • Ferrite, samarium cobalt (SmCo) and AlNiCo for lower cost, higher temperature or special stability needs.
  • Custom sizes and assemblies to your drawing. See our quote checklist for what to send and our selection guide if you are unsure which grade you need.

3. How an order works

  • Request. Send the application, size, grade, coating, quantity, delivery place and date.
  • Written quotation. It states the price, the validity date, the delivery terms (Incoterms), the country of origin and whether a Chinese export licence is needed for the grade.
  • Confirmation. Production or stock allocation starts after the order and payment terms are confirmed in writing.
  • Delivery and documents. We prepare the commercial documents and, where it applies, the customs documents, and arrange shipping to the agreed place.

4. Customs status, origin and duty

Türkiye and the European Union have been in a customs union since 1996, which covers industrial goods; the European Commission describes industrial goods traded between them as free of tariffs and quantitative restrictions [1]. The document that goes with such shipments is the A.TR movement certificate, which the Turkish supplier requests from Turkish Customs and which is valid for four months [2][3]. Dutch government guidance describes the A.TR as confirming that the goods are in free circulation [2]; the Dutch Chamber of Commerce describes it as a certificate of origin in the customs-union sense, which includes goods previously brought into Türkiye from another country [3]. The two pages do not spell out the conditions for goods made elsewhere, so we do not read more into the A.TR than it says.

For that reason the country of origin is stated on every quotation and on the commercial documents, and we do not describe a product as Turkish-made unless it is. We do not promise a duty-free import or a duty preference. Trade-defence measures, such as anti-dumping duties, can depend on the origin of the goods and on the customs tariff code, so please check the current EU tariff (TARIC) for your code and origin, or ask your customs agent; we can give you the code and origin we would put on the invoice. Our import guide explains the other formalities.

5. Delivery, payment and compliance

Delivery terms and payment terms are agreed for each order and written in the quotation. Transport is arranged directly to the agreed place in your country; who clears the goods and pays import VAT depends on the Incoterm, which we state in the quotation. We ask for the final destination and end use of the goods and apply export-control and sanctions rules to every order. Grades that need heavy rare earths (dysprosium or terbium) can depend on a Chinese export licence, which affects lead time; our licence guide explains how. We quote these separately and do not promise a delivery date that the licence does not allow.

6. Send us your request

Write to solution@ramitechnics.com or use the contact form. Please write in English. A drawing or a sample photo, the quantity per year and the delivery place help us quote faster.

7. Frequently asked questions

Can you deliver to EU countries? Yes, we quote for delivery to EU member states. The delivery terms are agreed per order and written in the quotation.

Is the import duty-free because of the customs union? We do not promise that. The customs union removes tariffs on industrial goods, but measures that depend on origin and tariff code can still apply. We state the origin in the quotation, and you should check the EU tariff for your code [1][2].

What is an A.TR certificate? It is the movement certificate used for trade in industrial goods between Türkiye and the EU. The Turkish supplier requests it from Turkish Customs, and it is valid for four months [2][3].

Do you supply high-temperature neodymium grades? Yes, but grades with dysprosium or terbium can need a Chinese export licence. We state this in the quotation and plan the lead time around it.

What is the minimum order? It depends on the product and size. Tell us the quantity you need and we confirm the minimum in the quotation.
